Crusoe officially DOA.....Moving to Saturday's

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Robinson Crusoe is about to get shipwrecked again - this time on Saturday nights.

NBC's "Crusoe" will shift to Saturdays at 8:00/7:00c starting December 6, network sources confirmed this afternoon. The show will air its final Friday broadcast tonight.

Taking over for "Crusoe" on Fridays will be "Lipstick Jungle" at 9:00/8:00c and the return of "Dateline NBC" at 10:00/9:00c, beginning December 5.
I wonder how much NBC invested in this since they hired a European production crew/writers and shot it in South Africa. Millions down the toilet.

Ouch. Never bothered with it and deleted it from my DVR. I'd much rather watch a re-run of "How to catch an Online Predator" instead.

probably cheaper than they would have if it were Americans. My guess they aren't doing too bad since it's likely shown around the world, since it's sort of a show that has broad appeal.

I'm confused. Was Crusoe ever intended to be a long-running series? I thought I read that it was only planned as a 13 part series.

That was my impression as well. If it ends at 13 that is fine but NBC better show all 13.

I've been catching this on Hulu for the past few weeks, so the moving of the night isn't going to do anything.

I just want to see all 13 eps.

This show can't decide if it wants to be a serious drama or mindless fun. I'll keep watching it, but I won't miss it if NBC kills it.
