As I said in a different post, I am pretty much done with ABC. They have Lost and Scrubs that I will watch, but I will not be tuning in next year to any of their new shows.

MOTHER FUCKER. My 3 favourite shows currently on ABC. I'm going to fucking kill them.

Dirty Sexy Money is fun and smutty - what Grey's Anatomy USED to be. Eli Stone is one of the best written/acted/feel good shows on TV and has been consistently good, something many other ABC shows can't claim (I'm looking at you Ugly Betty) and Pushing Daisies, despite it's murder plots that aren't THAT engaging, just made me feel GOOD, happy and I loved every minute of it.... With the exception of Lost and Scrubs, I think I'll dump all my ABC shows out of protest.... (ok, I'll still watch DH and B&S, but that's IT!)

Why so glum?

We get an hour of According to Jim, an hour of The Bachelor, and hour of True Beauty, an hour of Wife Swap AND an hour and Here Comes the Newyweds! ABC knows how to make quality TV. Fuckers.

I now pretty much only watch Fox and The CW.

I gave up on DSM, but loved Eli Stone (and Pushing Daisies to a lesser degree).

Maybe next time they wont have a 10 month delay between seasons. That might just help.

I'm Ok with PD but not Eli. I thought Eli stood a chance. Doesn't seem official on that show yet.

No bitterness toward ABC. They keep a lot of shows longer than probably the other networks. That's certainly true of Fox. Blame the fucking Nielsens. ABC still have Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty. I don't watch any other dramas.

Well, that leaves me with exactly one show that I watch and that is Chuck. And thank goodness Chuck is on NBC or it would have been canceled a long time ago.

Sucks about Eli Stone and Pushing Daisies.

I'm watching less and less network TV these days. I have a feel that in a few years, I won't be watching anything on the big 3 networks.

I guess Bryan Fuller can now set up his office at NBC and try to save the sinking ship that is Heroes since he's joining them now.

Not really. One thread is for PD only.

The 10+ month layoff killed Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money.

ABC should have produced 3-4 episodes post-strike to air during May sweeps. Big mistake by Steve McPherson.

The thread title in the other thread should have mentioned these two shows.

Is it that big of a deal? The thread TITLE said Pushing Daises Canceled. Technically the post could be blank. I would have never known that Eli and Dirty were canceled because I don't watch Pushing Daises so I would have never checked that particular thread. I don't watch Eli or Dirty either, but I know several that do so it's actually nice to have a separate thread for them.

I think a merge is in order if a moderator sees this, but it's not a huge deal.

ETA: I'll miss DSM, but I think they saw this coming. It has been getting soapier and soapier, as though they're trying to play all their cards.

By Far, Eli Stone is my favorite show on network TV. This is one of the reasons I don't really watch that many TV shows.
