Monster's Inc. is my favorite Pixar movie, am I gonna like Wall-E?
Ok I pre-ordered Wall-E ( should get it today.) and I know I will like it but
I am hoping that I love it.
My favorite Pixar films are;
#1 Monster's Inc
#2 Finding Nemo
#3 Tied between the Incredibles and Ratatouille.

Id put the Toy Storys and the rest of Pixar's films all
at #3.
#1 Monster's Inc
#2 Finding Nemo
#3 Tied between the rest of Pixar's films.
They are all good but really the only one that sticks out
for me is Monster's Inc. and Nemo.

I don't think you will... I liked Monsters, Inc. but Wall-E was a little disappointing. Visually its great, but Wall-E lacked the great writing and humor that made Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo so great.

Wall-E was disappointing to me but it is still visually arresting. It also has a pretty awesome score. Monsters Inc. is definitely one of their best though so I wouldn't go in expecting it to be on that level.

Visually great. But the humor was insultingly juvenile and simplistic, the plot was weak, and the heavy-handed message embarrassing.
I've loved all the other Pixar films I've seen, all get 7+/10, but Wall-E gets a 3/10.

I did not get Wall-E yet , when I get it and see it I will post
my results.
BTW , If there are any Pixar films I did not care for
Cars would be the one, and I am a A.S.E certifed
master mechanic , oh I am 38 yo too.
I'll probably get it today or tomorrow at the latest.

Don't listen to movielib - he doesn't like the movie only because he hates the environment and would rather the earth be burned asunder - so any movie with the opposite message to his stance automatically sucks.

I see you have "Finding Nemo" as your #2 favorite...so if it's any consolation, "Wall-E" was helmed by the same director, Andrew Stanton. I personally enjoyed it very much, though the format of this story is decidedly different than most.

While I don't think they're "good" movies I actually enjoyed The Day After Tomorrow and The Happening more than Wall-E. They gave me some entertainment.

I thought it was a bit much at the end when Wall-E turns to the audience and says "You know, we've had a lot of fun tonight, but I'd like to take a moment of your time and talk a bit about the very real issue of global warming." Even worse was the powerpoint presentation.

Also Bear in mind, WALL-E has **NOT** be released in Japan yet, as well as a few other territories. When all is said and done, it will probably clear $600 million total.
Which would make it in the Top 3 or 4 alltime of Pixar films box office (non-adjusted).
