Monk & Psych holiday-themed episodes 11/28/08 (BLACK FRIDAY) at 9pm

It should be no surprise that new holiday-themed episodes of Monk and Psych are airing 11/28 on the USA Network. Actually, it should be no surprise that Monk is offering a holiday tale since it has done so for the past four years. This is Psych's second entry into the holiday episode universe.

Monk "Mr. Monk and the Miracle" at 9pm
Spoiler:

It's Christmas, and Monk finds himself drawn, by forces beyond his control or explanation, towards a monastery in search of a miracle. Ric Sarabia guest star.
Psych "Christmas Joy" at 10pm
Spoiler:

Gus' family, including his sister Joy, come to town for the holidays. When the Santa from the local mall is arrested and put in jail, a little girl comes into Psych and asks them to help get Santa out.

A little warning for anyone who didn't think anything new would be on the day after Thanksgiving.

Good.

I've been missing my Psych fix.

Not so much that I would tune into that shitty knock-off show, though.

I find it odd that PSYCH is never mentioned in any articles I read about the new show, even though it's the same premise.

In some of the fall preview articles I read, blurbs about The Mentalist definitely referenced Psych.

myself, i LOVE Psych, and I also think that The Mentalist is the best new show this season.
