The Express comes to Blu-ray

Blu-ray.com is reporting


Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced that they will bring 'The Express' to Blu-ray on January 20th, day-and-date with the DVD release. Based on the true-life story of Heisman Trophy winner Ernie Davis, the film will be presented in 2.40:1 1080p video accompanied by a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack.

Extras for this release include:

50th Anniversary of the 1959 Syracuse National Championship (BD Exclusive)
Making of The Express
Making History: The Story of Ernie Davis
Deleted Scenes with Optional Commentary by Director Gary Fleder
Inside the Playbook: Shooting the Football Games

I went and saw this at the big screen. My wife didn't make it to see it with me so it makes sense to pick this up. She'll love it and I can't wait to watch it again.
