Could this show possibly be more smugly condescending toward Republicans/Conservatives? I get some sort of perverse thrill from watching a show so utterly shameless in it's preachiness. I guess this episode was Kelley's victory dance.

I've been a regular BL fan from the start and one of the reasons is that I felt the dialogs cleverly represented the middle road regarding political views. Ok, maybe a bit left but at least not extremist enough to insult a Libertarian.

Tonight, I felt like a damn fool for being a fan for all of these years.

On an unrelated note, Cheri Oteri

Interesting murder case, but there is no way a prosecutor would bring such a charge because it basically puts the whole issue of capital punishment in doubt.

I thought it was pretty tame compared to most of this season

So did I. This was probably one of the less preachy eps I've seen - at least this season. And I've never thought it represented a "middle road." It's always been extremely liberal with a smidge of libertarianism here and there (such as this episode with employers' right to hire/fire).

DEK did a far better job balancing political arguments with Picket Fences.

Factoid of the Week That May Interest Only Me:

This episode's title was "Kill Baby Kill"

CSI: Miami, on the same time and day, was titled "Gone Baby Gone".

Alan Ruck. Someone needs to get this man a regular role on a television show.

So Boston Legal went with a political title, CSI: Miami ripped off a Ben Affleck movie. Seems par for course.

"Kill, Baby, Kill" is the name of a (not at all political) Mario Bava film.

I actually am aware of that I just can't help but try and make CSI: Miami look bad every chance I get, it's a sickness really. (On that note, Gone Baby Gone was a very good movie).
