Amazon: Buy 2 Get 1 Free Blu-Ray Sale
Didn't see this posted, but feel free to delete if this if it has been. I'm sure these prices have been better in previous sales, but I'm pretty sure some of these could work out cheaper than the Deep Discount and DVD Sales. Ends Dec. 31. Hope this link works:

Different selection than the last Amazon Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale, too. Thinking about Adventures of Robin Hood, Cool Hand Luke, and Prisoner of Azkaban. Works out to $13.63 each, which definitely beats DD and DVD Planet.

Finally they offered the movies I wanted!
Yeah, it is an expensive week! Now they have offered the Blu-Ray titles I was waiting for a deal on to buy, two are double dips: Dark City and Blade Runner, the other one ordered is 2001 (which I rented and was just amazed at how great it looks). Didn't compare prices to Deep Discount, but they don't appear to have been hiked for the sale.
(Actually Blade Runner is a triple dip, bought the 5 DVD set before I got set up to watch Blu-rays on my PC.)

I love how they double the price from before the sale and try and convince you that you are getting a deal .... lame, pass
Amazon has been a total letdown this holiday season when it comes to BD and they should have (had a chance to) made a statement that they would be the premiere BD destination spot

Yes when I was fooling around with this I noticed that for someone that is just getting into BD and never had a HD DVD player like me(A35). This would be a good way to start your BD movie collection.
I noticed that the Best of Blu Ray disc Collection volume 1,Family and Action were in the qualifying movies list. It came out to $117.90 for me total! That's 16 BD movies for $117.90! that's $7.36 a movie.
I'm even thinking about it even though most of them I have on HD DVD already. Well maybe I wouldn't but for someone that likes most of these movies I think it's a steal.
I noticed that the Best of Blu Ray disc Collection volume 1,Family and Action were in the qualifying movies list. It came out to $117.90 for me total! That's 16 BD movies for $117.90! that's $7.36 a movie.

Except those 3 sets would only include 12 movies putting it closer to $10 per disc. Still not a bad deal.
