I have to admit that I continue to be amazed by the awesomeness of Monica Bellucci, and I wonder if she's just an anamoly or is it more common that I realize that "older" actresses look that good. I undertand that older is a relative term, but in an industry focused on youth, it's not easy for older actresses in general. Who would you all consider as the best looking older actresses?

As both actresses are quite prolific and this is a forum (presumably) populated by film enthusiasts, most will have seen several films with both actresses and either agree or not. The photos were offered only for those that could not immediately place a face with a name.
Personally, I have found personal tastes in what is and is not attractive to be pretty much unswayable. Trying to convince in matters such as these makes about as much sense as trying to have sex with an electric fence. Just my $0.02.

This is really freakin depressing. These "older" actresses everyone is mentioning are all younger than me and I'm not 50 yet.
As much as I agree with most of the choices, the truth is a lot of these women have had a little work done on themselves. It's easy to look "younger" when you have the means to do so. I mean, there's genes and all, but I wonder if these women would look as gorgeous if they didn't have so much money.

And you'd be right about that. For better or worse, their livelihood depends on how they look.

Agreed, there is a scene in Sneakers where she has a very quiet voice that I just fell in love with.

Back in the early 90's I owned a limousine service. We didn't get big names in Rochester but we would get a lot of B-listers who would show up for different events. Let me tell you, when these ladies get off a plane, especially from the west coast they look very plain Jane. They still look very attractive but it's a shock to realize how much the makeup and the lighting can do for them.
Some of the names on this list that people consider "older women" are making me feel old. And I'm 26.
I'll go the other end of the spectrum and say Jane Fonda who still looks good at 70.
