What's your current relationship's first date movie? (What about past ones?)

The Politics thread about Barack Obama taking his wife Michelle on their first date to Do the Right Thing got me thinking.

What is your current relationship's "first movie"? Or, if you're not in one or can't remember, what were some previous ones.

I think kvrdave had a first date movie that was Silence of the Lambs.

Mine is Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Currently, our first movie was Final Destination 3. Although I believe we ended up following that up later with Failure to Launch I can't really remember past ones.

Disney's Chicken Little. And we're still together. Can't wait until next year, when she graduates from the 4th Grade.

No but seriously, that was the first movie me and my now wife saw after I was home sick for a week, quarantined with a sick throat infection and dying for any kind of external stimulation. Being both Disney geeks, it was a no brainer. 3 years later, we're hitched, who knew?

Ones I remember

Marathon Man
Every Which Way But Loose
Prom Night(orig.)
Top Gun
Flashdance
New Year's Evil
The Song Remains The Same

These are first date movies. If we didn't see a movie on first date I have no idea what the first one was.

It was 1982 so some of the first ones I remember seeing with my girlfriend who is now my wife is Raiders of the Lost Ark, Tootsie, and ET.

My wife and I went to see Disney's The Lion King when we first started dating. Part of the reason I'd rank it as my favorite Disney film.

I've always liked my parents' first date movie: The Exorcist. My mom hates scary movies and had her eyes covered for the whole last half of the movie. My dad was worried she was never going to go out with him again after that.

The Scorpion King - although we were both buzzed from Saki bombers. Even though I had a reasonable buzz, I still thought that fucking movie was ludicrous.

My previous long term relationship's first movie was Scream I think. Either that or The People VS Larry Flynt.

Wife of 6 years, our first date was to "Pay it Forward." We bonded over our hatred of that offensive pile.
