JFK on BD: Same as SD Ultimate Release?

I wanted to know if anyone has any information regarding the November 11th release of JFK on BLU-RAY and if it has all of the extras and amenities of the SD release as posted on AMAZON: http://www.amazon.com/JFK-Ultimate-Collectors-Kevin-Costner/dp/B001DJ7PN2/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1225899568&sr=8-5

I am really hoping that it has all of the same stuff and is not just the movie. The SD release comes with:

3-Disc Ultimate Collectors Edition loaded with 3 hours of bonus content including a 90-minute documentary – Beyond JFK: The Question of Conspiracy, commentary by Director Oliver Stone, and deleted/extended scenes. This collector’s edition also comes with an ALL-NEW 1-disc documentary – The Kennedys: America’s Emerald Kings based on the book by Thomas Maier and exclusive, collectible memorabilia including a special 38-page hard-cover book, reproduced letters written by Kennedy and more.

Let me know and thanks in advance!

No idea, but I seriously doubt if you get the book and everything. Here's hoping i'm wrong though.

It's definitely in a hardcover book.

The entry for JFK on Warner Home Video's site looks like it includes everything:

Their other 'book' editions have consistently carried over everything too, I believe.

Then it's surprising that Amazon is selling the Blu-Ray for $6 less than the DVD version.

Actually, Warner has typically done a Digibook for the BD when an "Ultimate Edition" is available on SD DVD and the Digibook does not include all of the physical extras that come in the Ultimate Edition. Usually the content on the disc(s) is the same though, if not extra material available on the BD only (like How the West Was Won).

The Blu-ray version is just a digi-book with a single Blu-ray. The Blu-ray includes a 1080p transfer of the movie (the director's cut, not the theatrical), plus SD deleted scenes, "Question of the Conspiracy" documentary, a featurette on new documents, a featurette on the "real" Mr. X, the theatrical trailer and the Stone Commentary (all of which are ported over from the previous Special Edition DVD).

The "Emerald Kings" documentary is not included, nor are any of the physical suppliments (book, letter reproductions).

The "Emerald Kings" doc is available seperately, however, on DVD, should you want to get the Blu-ray and still buy the documentary.
