7.00 great Sci-fi DVDS at Walmart

The Walmart in Milford DE had a whole shelve of 7.00 Sci Fri DVDS. The prices were not listed, but the all scanned for 7.00--I asked for help.

There were some good deals, Earth vs the flying saucers, It came beneath the sea are the two I remember. That is the cheapest I ever seen of those two titles and I am glad I had not bought them before.

These days I really try to wait on titles above 15.00

Are these the recent two-disk releases with both the color and B&W?

Thanks

I really want to get these, but I am eagerly awaiting a deal on the Ray Harryhausen 4 disc Blu Ray set which includes both of these.

I really pays to pay attention. I saw the display with no signage and the stickers on the cases are that kind of blank stickers you see on the 5.00 bargin bin titles--so I asked the staff about the prices and they all came up 7.00

Nothing in north Jersey. But they were getting boatloads of new stuff and had lots of empty space.

No Sci-Fi shelf/display yet at the Wal-Mart close to me(Beavercreek/Dayton, Oh) when I checked yesterday on Wednesday. Oh well, at least I got in on that recent $4.00 display. Win some, lose some.

Hudson Mass. also had these double disc sets -- picked up Earth vs and It Came from Beneath... Sadly the 20 Million Miles to earth they had in the $7.00 display was only the single disc version.

well that bites. the Ymir is one of my favourite monsters of all time and the only one I desperately wanted to re-buy.

Guess I'll wait for a remaindered overpriced box with the ymir statue (which I rather imagine is inevitable! heh)

So, where are you folks finding these within your stores? Sounds like actual shelves--what are they next to/above/below/etc? New releases? TV dvds? Christmas DVDs?
