More Paul Newman on DVD 2/17/09
Gee, do we get an unusual assortment of films here!!!
On February 17, 2009, we get the following Warners titles;
Rachel, Rachel
The Silver Chalice
The Outrage
The Helen Morgan Story
When Time Ran Out (makes one wonder ha!!)
According to their press release, Warner Bros have also confirmed that their Newman MGM titles including; Until They Sail, The Prize and The Rack WILL be released on to DVD in the not too distant future.

Nice! THE SILVER CHALICE is one of my favorite all-time bad movies!
And those other titles ..... UNTIL THEY SAIL and THE RACK are two great movies waiting to be re-discovered.

An interesting mix of one acclaimed film (Rachel, Rachel) and two really bad, but potentially fun, ones (When Time Ran Out, The Silver Chalice). I'm a little ashamed to admit that I'm more looking forward to the bad ones.

Wonderful!
Finally WHEN TIME RUNS OUT! Never thought this would see the light on DVD... That film is a laughfest, even more so than Allen's THE SWARM. Hopefully it will be the uncut 144-minute version!

I have not seen many of these, but looking forward to them anyway. I also have to admit to wanting to see "When Time Ran Out" again. It used to be a cheesy favorite of mine back in the kid days.
