Cannery Row on R1 DVD 1-27-2009
Am I to understand this going to be a fool screen release?
I've seen that mentioned twice now and the Amazon page doesn't list wide screen, one reviewer there also posted it was to be a cropped fool screen release three days ago.
Surely this is not accurate.
Anyone?

Okay now Amazon lists this as an anamorphic widescreen release.
Anybody own it?
What's the actual story on this?

This is a great day.
Mine is already on the way.
I'm amazed more people weren't stoked about this film getting a proper release.

Thanks John for posting the back...it just would not do it when i tried (which i am assuming means i didn't know what i was doing)
I am definitely someone who loved this film as a kid...i watched it pretty much every single time it was on one of the pay cable channels in 1983...also, i would have to say that it seems a LOT of people are 'stoked', since both Netflix and Blockbuster have this title listed as 'very long wait'...
