Another solid episode. I liked Brass getting his hands dirty in the lab. It was also intersting seeing Wendy argue with Doc Robbins over which one of them tainted the blood sample.

I think it's sad to see one of the greatest TV characters of all time, Grissom, moping about. I think they're overplaying it a bit. We get it, he's leaving, don't dwell on it for weeks, let the guy do his job so we can get some memorable scenes for his last few appearances. Check the emo shit at the door.

I like how they subtly hinted at some vampire stuff to make it Halloween-y, but they didn't come right out and make it obvious.

I think I'm really going to like Lauren Lee Smith's character.

Did you notice the policeman that had his uniform stolen was Garcia from "Reno 911"? I wouldn't have recognized him without the mustache, but I saw his name in the credits. They said he was with the Reno Police, but didn't go so far as to say Reno Sheriff's department.
