that does look pretty damn good. redeeming, actually. funny how they mention a "leak" in the FBI. Jesus, does there always have to be a mole inside?

While I agree it looks a little different than the previous seasons (maybe it's the blueish tint to everything)...I think the big thing is it's been so long since the last (and terrible) season 6.
This show needed a break, and needed to get out of CTU. I for one am stoked to see it trying to change a little.
With that being said, I absolutly HATE the Tony story line. Either keep him killed, or he better be a good guy undercover.

"The most critically acclaimed series on tv", really?
Besides that it looks good but I'll remain cautiously optimistic...

Tony as the bad guy? I'm not liking that at all. I just don't want Tony v. Jack and would way rather have Tony and Jack working together, but oh well. I guess with Michelle dead, etc., Tony's pretty ticked.

Tony was always weak, so I can easily buy his supposed betrayal considering everything that he's been through.

I got to preview the 2-hour "Redemption" movie this weekend that's airing later this month. Without giving spoilers, I thought it was so-so. The first half-hour is rather slow, but then things begin to kick in. Still, there's a lot of stuff I think 24 fans might find themselves griping about. Overall, I think it's a C+ movie. And yes, it does happen in "real time".

FOX just announced the premiere date for season 7
http://www.tvguide.com/News/24-Season-Clock-35148.aspx
Drop it! Your mouse, that is, and check this out. Fox has announced that Jack Bauer's seventh very bad day will kick off with a two-night, four-hour event, airing Sunday, Jan. 11, and Monday, Jan. 12, 2009. What's more, the series will mark its 150th episode (and approximately its 10,000th ejected shell casing) with the second hour of the aforementioned Monday broadcast.
Having been off the air since May 21, 2007 (due to last winter's WGA strike), 24 actually will first return with a two-hour movie bridging Seasons 6 and 7, airing Nov. 23.
Come January, Day 7 will get underway with Jack on trial before the government for his assorted "questionable" world-saving tactics. That bit of bureaucracy is thankfully interrupted when news surfaces that someone from Jack's past — someone who's dead, to be exact — turns up very much alive. (Look at me deftly dance around that year-old "spoiler"!)
Among Season 7's new cast members, Cherry Jones is the freshly installed Madame President (and she's rather terrific, if the two-hour movie is any sign) and Jon Voight is the big baddie.

Why on earth is Tony in this?
Seriously. It looks so badass. Kiefer is cool. They are mixing it up and getting out of CTU. All good things.
Then fucking Dead Tony shows up. Doesn't that pretty much mean it has jumped the shark before it airs? I hope David Palmer is behind the whole thing.
