I was going to try and wait until the next sale when I saw this announcement. DD has already gone up $10 anyway so I went ahead and ordered from Amazon. I hope I didn't screw myself by waiting as I would really prefer the tin over any standard release.
Glad to see it's selling well though.

Uh, no... it hasn't sold out.
According to your link it only says all copies have been sent to retailers. To me, that means once the retailers have sold out, they will not be able to get anymore from Shout!Factory.
So, if you want the deluxe edition, get it now.... don't wait.
