Top 10 Songs of the 2000's (2000 - 2008)

Yeah, I know we're two years shy of completing this decade, but I'm trying to get an idea on what songs you think are the best of the best (so far). And when I say "best," I mean like what Down Under by Men At Work would mean if this were a Top 10 Songs of the 1980's list.

I don't know about ten but one that would be in there for me would be Straight Lines by Silverchair. Probably my favorite song in years, and one I just can't get tired of.

I would put "Lose Yourself" by Eminem and probably "Hey Ya" by Outkast on there.

You're my favorite wendersfan even though you picked the wrong Black Keys song.

I like the one that's going to be number 1 on the charts in the summer of 2009.

I guess my taste is a tad more "mainstream" than most people here, I am mainly into pop/rock, dance-pop and some r&b.

Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out
Coldplay - Talk
Killers - Somebody Told Me
Keane - Everybody's Changing
Scissor Sisters - I Don't Feel Like Dancin'
Madonna - Hung Up
Gwen Stefani - What You Waiting For
Gnarls Barkley - Crazy
Mary J. Blige - Family Affair
Mariah Carey - We Belong Together

ten songs from this decade I played the fug out of and still love and can see being 00's classics in ten years time.

not to be a prick or picky, but "Broadway" came out in 98, from "Dizy Up The Girl.
