Like the title of the thread says. Buy 2 DVDs and get the 3rd one free. The also have the same deal for books in the mystery, thriller, manga, graphic novels, romance and sci-fi & fantasy and for all calendars.

Does Borders charge full list price during a promotion like this or can you apply this offer on sale items? Thanks for the heads-up!

The offer applies to items on sale, like new releases. I'm wondering if the deal applies on Blu Rays.

I got an e-mail about this sale last night and was looking to see what the fine print said about what was included/excluded, but didn't see anything specifically mentioned either way.

Anyone know how much Borders is charging for the Bond Blu-rays in-store?

I doubt if it can be better than at BB. On sale for $24.99, in cool exclusive steelbooks, and a $10 coupon. Plus the $10.50 movie cash bringing your net down to $5 per blu-ray.

Hey! With this sale essentially making everything 33% off, Borders' prices will ALMOST be down to what every other store charges normally!

I know it sounds crazy to most bargain-hunters, but I would rather avoid talking to a salesman than save $10. Also, I prefer to have the regular cases rather than the steelbooks, because I dislike the 007 cover art they're using and want to be able to replace it.

Understandable, but here's another option. You can use the QoS pre-order coupon, no talking involved. Then buy blank cases if you're going to change the art anyway. Net cost $11 assuming blank blu-ray cases are $1.

Thanks for your wonderful threadcrap!

There are deals to be found here. The Borders in Raleigh had several blu Rays for $19.99, including Dark City. So you can buy 3 BDs for $40, which is $13.34 for each.

He/she is still holding a grudge because Borders didn't honor his/her 80% off order from August 31.

Here's a link to a listing of the $19.99 Blu-rays-

http://www.borders.com/online/store/...mpid=d2-100708

I'm going to grab the Bleach and Death Note movies along with From Hell Blu-ray for $40. I think that I might also bite on Crystal Skull, Incredible Hulk and Sleeping Beauty Blu-rays for $60. Thanks again for posting, dx23.

That would require me to pre-order a video game that I don't want. Really, I just want the best price for the three Connery's in standard Blu-ray cases. Right now, Target looks like the winner at $19.99 each, but if this Borders promotion puts the average price at less than that, I'll get them there.

According to the pricing at www.bordersstores.com/search/search.jsp (Borders old website that usually has accurate in-store pricing), the individual Bond blu-rays are going for $34.99 each. You'll save $10 by going with Target.

EDIT: I just checked Columbia House and they have Dr. No and From Russia With Love for $26.21 each. If you're a member and are willing to wait for the next Blu-ray BOGO sale with free shipping, then these will obviously be $13.10 each. For some strange reason, Thunderball is not offered on Blu-ray as yet.

Is the movie cash exclusive to Best Buy?

I already worked that into the pricing, the pre-order is $5, comes with $10 coupon.

Best Buy would be $15 or $20 each, depending on which coupon you grab.

Borders would be $70 for three. Target $60.

The movie cash is at all stores I'm pretty sure.

Does it require a promo code for this offer? I tried to order 3 but didn't get the 3rd one free. Unless it is not for new blu-ray release.

Everyone who missed out on the 5.99 sale--here's your chance. Same DVDs are still on sale for 7.99--b2g3=5.32 each!

If you need new Blu Ray cases, check to see if your local Best Buy has anymore of the Handcock preview discs. They are still free.
