Wow, though it's still been good, this was really the first episode this season that really felt like a Season One episode. And based on the commercial at the end, I guess next week's show really will be the only scripted network show on in its timeslot! It shows ABC at least still has some faith in the series

Pity the Piemaker at the end of the episode......what a tease!

I got 15 minutes in and totally lost interest. To the point where it became my second casualty of the season. I'll probably give next week another shot, but I've been feeling kinda "meh" towards it the past few weeks.

I still enjoy the show, but the "quirky" just isn't fresh anymore. The visuals that made it a feast for HD now seem few and far between. And the plots aren't all that fun either.

I liked this episode better than the past couple weeks. I thought the whole bit with Emerson and his mother worked really well. I do wish they would break from the usual formula for a change just to shake things up.

I thought this was a good episode, not laugh-out-loud funny but entertaining (with a few kinda gross moments). Obviously, the freshness is going to wear off anything, but each week still has some new background info given about one of the characters.

Yep, another good ep. It wasn't as wacky and fun filled as last week's, but it was still good and as usual it was filled with heart.
Emerson's Mom was great.
Emerson..."Double Dental Dam"
Emerson's Mom..."Yeah you'd need one with her".

Edna from Everwood as Emerson's mom was great and the dialog is snappy enough to keep me interested, but I didn't care for the "frescort" plotline and I missed the Aunts.
Not a bad episode, but not a good one either.

I am in the minority, I haven't seen a bad episode of this show yet. But I don't think it is going to last all season, which is a shame.

I still like the show, but I think the writers have kind of painted themselves into corner with these "Ned wakes up murder victim for one minute to help solve the crime" stories. They need to do shake things up a little if the show is going to survive.

I figured it out... Barb (aka Downey) was played by the same girl that played Micah's cousin Monica in Heroes last season.
I liked tonights ep. I think that the show has been getting creative with some of the surprise dead people. I didn't see the QB/Trophy stiff coming in that last part.
to Edna as Ms. Cod. I love the way they switch things up.
Oh, and was it okay that I thought that David Arquette's character suited him?

I keep hearing this comment but it makes no sense. That's what the show is about; and even with that, the deaths are mostly a background to the what's going on in the main character's lives. This ep wasn't really about "Frescorts", it was about Emerson and his Mom, Emerson and his Lost Daughter, Chuck and Olive, Chuck and Ned, and etc.
It's like saying, "You know, that MASH will never succeed if they keep the Korean War thing going". The Korean War was the background to the lives of of the Doctors.

Yeah i thought Chuck was going to tell Olive about the "Big secret" at some point in this ep. And I thought Ned might do it during the last ep "bad habits". In both eps they both had scenes with Olive that seemed to like they could go that way.
Either way I get the feeling they're getting close to telling her or having her find out by accident.
