What is the best DVD documentary on the Holocaust?
What is the best DVD out there on the Holocaust? I am looking for a documentary, not a movie. Thanks.

You may want to start with Alain Resnais' "Nuit et brouillard", Criterion has it as "Night and Fog", it's about Auschwitz.

Another vote for Shoah. If you can play R2 discs, I'd recommend the Masters of Cinema release. It's not Holocaust focused, but Amazon UK has a great price on Marcel Ophuls' The Sorrow and the Pity and it's a great accompaniment to Shoah.

Speaking of SHOAH, if you're in the Portland area, the NW Film Center is screening it the last weekend in May.
Pt. 1 screens on Friday and the following Sunday.
Pt. 2 screens on the following Monday.
And both screen back to back on Sunday.
$10 per part.
I'm thinking of doing the "marathon" on Sunday.
