Budget DVD Player suggestions

I'm looking for a budget DVD player for a spare bedroom TV. I need something that can zoom without displaying the current zoom level on the screen after it is zoomed in. Something around $40 or less would be ideal for what I need, if possible.

I need this to replace a CyberHome CH-DVD 300S that recently decided to stop working.

I like my Philips DVP-5992 that I got at Costco for $49.99. I don't think it displays the zoom level on the screen IIRC.
