South Park :The China Problem (Season Premiere 10-8-08)

After watching the opening ceremony at the Olympic Games, Cartman comes to the realization the Chinese are only days away from attacking the U.S. With the rest of the American people haunted by the memory of a recent tragic event, only Butters will stand with Cartman as he confronts the Chinese.

Sounds like a good premiere. I'm guessing Butters will be the unfortunate victim mentioned in the preview. Poor Butters

It's about damn time! Also, according to my cable company, I'll be getting CC in HD in time for the 2nd episode. Are these actual broadcast in HD or are they just up-rezzed?

I believe they still use upconverts for most episodes. They made a big deal a year ago about going HD and released "Good Times with Weapons" to Xbox 360 and HD-DVD as a promotional piece, but since then I think only "Imaginationland" has been shown in HD.

We're only at the premiere. I have a feeling they'll do one too. There is enough shit going on in the world right now that they can get a seasons worth of material ripping on it. Can't wait.
