Whats the best free dvd player program?

I reformatted a laptop and am reloading software and wonder what the latest and greatest free dvd player might be?

(I'm running XP)

Guess I'll answer my own question.

I downloaded GOM Media Player onto the laptop and it plays video well BUT I have no audio for that software. Still have sound for other programs as well as online but no media player sound. Anyone use GOM or have advice? Thanks

You might want to try VLC Media Player

Interactual is OK and comes on a lot of DVD's.

Power DVD is good as well.

VLC is nice. I know some of my coworkers use WinDVD, which seems to work fine.

i would recommend VLC also as it can play a whole variety of media files too.
