The demo on the 360 was ok. The graphics were ok and the earth moving was interesting but ultimately it was nothing special.

The latest GamePro gives it 3.5/5. Basically, they said the single player was unimpressive. They call it "serviceable" with "lackluster missions" and a "disappointing finale". They really liked the multiplayer saying that's "where the game's true potential lies".
IGN (http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/915/915794p1.html) gives it a 5.9/10.
It's got a 72% average on GameRankings (http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/939323.asp).

I just beat it in under 6 hours. Really repetitive and just takes the "hill" gimmick through the entire game. Easy 680 achievement points though, so I can't complain.
...wait's for Saint's Row 2 patiently....

I was excited for this one until I played the demo. I enjoyed it at first, but the hill/ tunnel thing seemed pointless after awhile, and it seemed a little clumsy as a shooter overall. With Little Big Planet, Resistance 2, and Gears 2 all coming out in the next month, it wasn't hard for me to quickly lose interest in this game.

Sounds like a perfect $3 rental to me. :)

I thought the demo was slightly interesting. It was good enough for me to throw into my Gamefly list and give it a rental sometime. If i could snag it for 20$ i might actually buy it for the goofy ground altering mechanic alone.
