I just noticed this today on Amazon.co.uk and put my pre-order in. There is also the 1982 Incredible Hulk cartoon being released on November 3rd. Good to see that these old classics are finally hitting shelves.

Well, that's pretty cool.
Shouldn't this go in the International forum if it's a UK release?

Hopefully these is a preview of good things to come to the US. I want all the Marvel and DC comics animated series, especially the X-Men and Spider-Man one.

Wow, I had no idea about these shows being made available. Looks like it's time to finally get an Oppo!

I have no interest in xmen or hulk, but I would buy spidy and his amazing freiends if they released it in R1.

It's not.
Totally different rights issues/legal issues in the US and the UK.
For the near (and probably distant) future, the only R1 discs you'll be able to get are the Canadian Morningstar compilations. And those are only coming out because they found a loophole that allows them to put out on DVD exactly what they put out on VHS years ago.

For those that are interested, at the TVIV I've been keeping a list of all of these UK Marvel DVDs released by Liberation - see here (http://tviv.org/Liberation_Entertainment_%28UK%29/Marvel_Comics_DVDs)

If you haven't ordered this yet, you better now. Liberation Entertainment has shut down their UK division, which is who was releasing these Marvel shows on DVD in the UK. Not only does this mean that no more shows will be released, but it means that what has been released will go out-of-print, as it's already being listed as 'deleted' at HMV.
For the record, these are the only Marvel DVDs they released:
Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends: Season 1
The Incredible Hulk (1996): Season 1, Volume 1; Season 1, Volume 2
X-Men (1992): Season 1, Volume 1; Season 1, Volume 2
Fantastic Four (1994): Season 1
The Marvel Superheroes: The Incredible Hulk Complete Series
