Halfway through (and loving it):

It really isn't about trashing Britney. It's about a mother that understands life isn't forever and wanted to write about what she learned in life to leave it behind to her children. I am really loving it.
My first Hard Case Crime monthly book (I have 6 others I bought separately that I haven't started):

I am 20 pages in and REALLY liking it. I am so hooked it's not even funny.
Starting the Left Behind Series with book one of the prequel:

-love this blurb from the website...
"This is the worst idea for a book I've ever heard - it makes me want to vomit. The idea encapsulates the very worst part of Western thought. It makes a purely Socratic distinction about something that isn't intellectualizable." [One week later:] "I take it back - I'm sorry! This is great!"
— Joni Mitchell
and because i've come to detest my job i'm finally getting around to reading this...

I've started so many and haven't finished... hopefully these two will keep my attention. I do love the way they both write, especially Arnold. I mean, how much better can it get than "He had really gorgeous calves which popped out like small melons" :D
Finished:
The Brief, Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz

Finished The Man in the High Castle. I liked it a lot better than I did when I was a teenager. I must have missed the point of a lot of dialogue back then.
Very good listen, but I find it funny that "Johnny Cash" is in big bold letters in the front, but "Reads the New Testament" is in tiny tiny letters under his name.

Absolutely awful, I expected a lot more of his detailed personal story that would subtly lead you to his conclusion, instead he spent far too much time in each chapter repeating his world view.

Until I read your sentence at the end, I thought it was a Johnny Cash biography and I got excited because since Walk The Line I've been a fan. :(
