Wow is right. I agree with him completely. Im not a big Bill Simmons fan but that was a great column. Maybe my favorite of his since the 2001 Pats Superbowl column.

It's a shame that those at work cannot access the games via streaming video or audio (at least through U.S. websites) without paying for it through mlb.com.
bunkaroo
10-02-08, 04:00 PM
From what I read, you can't see streaming video anyway even if you pay for MLB.TV due to exclusivity during the playoffs, so your bets case scenario is audio only. You have to wait for the archived video after the game ends.

Ugh, one more run now to close the book on his dumb ass.
Here will be his post game interview:
"I felt good, just couldn't hit my spots. We'll get them tomorrow."
No, you won't do shit. Sick of him putting them behind the 8-ball.
Good job, Clayton. Way to get clean up that mess.

I didn't realize ESPN is picking up the TBS broadcast. It is the ESPN channel in the Philippines and sometimes the streaming is iffy.

At least we shouldn't have to see him again in this series. Buehrle can pitch game five on regular rest if it gets that far.

As far as I'm concerned we don't have to see him again all postseason. He's not even good enough for the bullpen.

Why would you ask? Besides, if the mods do have a problem with it, they are welcome to delete my post (as well as chrisih8u's.) No harm intended. That website streams a number of channels and just happens to be streaming ESPN out of the Philippines.
I'm sure there are others here who are at work and don't live in either Chicago or Tampa that would like to see or at least hear the game (in English.) The streaming is iffy at times, but it beats nothing.
On a side note, it blows that MLB is actually having day games when most people are at work...and starting the games out West so late that those fans back East have to stay up till almost 2 A.M.
huh?

meh, our shot was in the 7th. and they couldn't even push across 1, but that's par for the course with this very flawed all or nothing team.

I like our chances with Buerhle tomorrow, considering the Rays batting seemed pretty tame when we brought in the lefty.

Must win games today for the Brewers (Sabathia) and Cubs (Zambrano) pitching. If they lose, 3 game sweeps are a distinct possibility.
Hmmm...I wonder what the line will be on a Phillies vs. Dodgers NLCS?
CRM114

The Dodgers swept the Phils 4 games in LA. Then the Phils swept the Dodgers in 4 in Philadelphia. It's a compelling matchup.
