I guess I will be the first one to comment on my thread.

Good episode, not great. Some clever writing and a few really good lines.

So they switched daughters.... that happens a lot where Junior Sarah Silverman starts in a show and gets swapped for a nobody.

So far it's funny enough.

However, every time I see Jay Mohr I remember what Triumph said about him:
"Jay Mohr's career is like my poop. Hot for ten minutes."

If I had to be a celebrity it would be Jay Mohr:

Great Stand-Up
Spent some time on SNL
Big Movie with Jerry Maguire
Action! was a awesome sitcom that would have been a huge hit on Fox 5 years later.
Creator and Executive Producer of Last Comic Standing $$$
Good movies that weren't huge hits with Go, Suicide Kings, Mafia, 200 Cigarettes
Bangs Nikki Cox nightly

He's big enough to do well in the business and not so big where Paparazzi is all over him.

I'm enjoying this show, which means it'll probably be cancelled!

Jay seems like a cool guy, he calls into Opie and Anthony and Ron and Fez all the time. He does a hilarious Colin Quinn impersonation.

I'm enjoying the show enough so far, but was it just me or was Ed Begley Jr. coming off in this episode like he'd never acted before? I like Begley (he was great in Arrested Development!) but this struck me like he rushed onto the set without rehearsing.

To be honest, I've always been a fan of Mohr's. I caught the first two episodes of the show so far and I just don't like it.

It doesn't help that Paula Marshall is on the show, so it'll be cancelled in a few weeks.

However, Mohr is doing stand-up in Vegas in two weeks, and I might just go have to see him now.

Yeah, I'm a fan of his from O&A and Action, but he does a good job in this show, and hopefully it does well. I heard it beat the New Adventures lead in for the first ep.

Bumping this instead of a new thread.

Max Gail as Gary's dad was freakin' hilarious! He should be written in as a regular.

Myself and my wife actually like this show. Definitely a pretty generic sitcom, but it does make me laugh a couple of times per episode. I cracked up at the one episode where Gary swore on his kid's lives, and then told them to be very careful for the next couple of days.
