How I Met Your Mother "The Best Burger in New York 9/29

The Best Burger in New York
Spoiler:

Marshall runs into Regis Philbin during his search for the restaurant where he ate his first New York burger.

fucking sucks. The Ravens play tonight, and of course, they have to play the game on network tv too, and it happens to be on the local CBS station. I checked my dvr guide, and it didn't show that it was re airing, so i guess unless someone helps me out, i might have to use alternate means.

That's funny I was just looking this up as I came across this thread. TV Guide.com says that HIMYM is re-airing Thursday 10/2 at 3:05am(!) on WJZ.

Not a football fan eh? It should be a good game tonight. Hopefully Flacco won't totally collapse under all the screaming Steeler's fans! This is his first road test.

I just realized I forgot to set my one of my VCRs to tape this and TBT tonight. I did remember to set the 2nd one to tape Chuck, Heroes, and Life. Man, am I an idiot.

My favorite part of the episode was Regis working out in the gym. I enjoyed his nicknames for everyone.

I was kinda thinking that there was going to be some joke at the end about the taxodermy shop somehow contributing to the burger. Oh well. Still a funny episode.

What an odd episode. Really seemed out of left field like an episode from around the time Barney FIRST got Marshall a job. The regis bits were gold though!

Regis was great, I don't really like Marshall centric eps, and this was a a bad one for me.

Myself and my wife cracked up at that line. I actually almost did a spit take, since I was drinking coffee at the time. I had to pause the show to compose myself.

Other than that, kinda a meh episode.

I thought this was one of the worst episodes of the entire run of this show. I actually turned it off about 1/2 way through and I never do that. So far this season, I've laughed out loud way more at Big Bang Theory.

They need to just get to the mother reveal. Or, follow Barney and Robin around (at least they are interesting).

Given the banks situation, it was weird to see Marshall get a job at GNB.

I liked Robin's delivery of her line "Oh my god, I just want you inside of me."

But overall, it was a bad scavenger-hunt type of episode.

I thought the episode was OK, but watching this made me want a delicious burger so damn bad... I was watching it at midnight and then went to bed dreaming of tasty burgers...just cruel IMO.

I really liked the episode.

I especially loved the homage to Amadeus. One of my favorite scenes in ANY movie:
