They are deploying army units in the us. Probably to declare martial law when this bailout fails and the economy fails.I'm going to need to see a more credible source for this.

I'm going to say this is probably accurate. These guys are probably going to be based in Georgia because of the gasoline crisis. No reason to put them anywhere else right now.
Yet.

That article (w/ the actual facts) has a lot less "alarmist" slant to it IMHO though. If I'm reading it correctly it sounds like one unit a year will be assigned to NorthCom to act as a federal response force (whereas the National Guard is controlled by the state). So if a state's NG unit is deployed elsewhere this unit can step in and help out in a situation. They will also have the ability to train and help out for some things that NG units may or may not be properly trained for.
Whether or not this is a good thing and how it relates to the Posse Comitatus Act still needs to be worked out though...

I heard this on NPR a week or so ago. And yes, they will be mobilized to deal with natural disasters and the like (flooding, hurricanes, etc). It sounded like it was planned a long time ago and it's coming out now as bad timing with all the fears of financial collapse.
