Family Guy - The Complete Collection (Stewie Head Packaging) ---> 10/21/08

Amazon.com has this exclusive set that includes Family Guy Vol 1 - 6, blue Harvest disc 1, the Stewie Griffin Presents Feature Film and the American Dad Vol 1 bonus disc. Right now the pre-order price is $121.99.

http://www.amazon.com/Family-Guy-Col...2639187&sr=1-5

It seems that FOX will keep repackaging all this sets as long as the series keeps running.

So pathetic. I have never seen a show do this before. Every time a new season is released, a new complete collection is released. Does FOX not have other shows to release? Are people ACTUALLY buying these releases?

Well it's a great Holiday gift, but honestly, what Family Guy fan does not own at least half of the seasons so far?

I know it.

I think those Party Packs are a real waste.. but I guess some fans will eat this up with a spoon.

Afraid so. Putting out anything "Family Guy" on DVD is like printing money.

Eh, I don't care what they do with packaging of stuff that can be had separately.

Now if they put all this together and added some good disc that could only be had with this... That would piss me off.

Sold the individual seasons for a profit and picked up the previous party pack when it was on sale at Amazon. Not up for replacing again.

The title of this thread is misleading and incorrect. It is not the "Complete" collection, it is the "Total World Domination Collection." I thought that I might have missed something and Family Guy got canceled or something.

Either way, how sad. I've been picking up the season sets as they are released, so I will not be double dipping.

This is much much better than the Party Pack Set... that being said, I'm not getting it because I already own all the individual sets.

The thread isn't totally inaccurate. Some sites have been showing this as "The Complete Collection".

And if anyone thinks FG is going to get canceled again, think again. It's Fox's main cash cow now, and the Cleveland spin-off starts in January.

The link at amazon.com says "Complete Collection". And it is, until vol 7 is released next year.

Just because Amazon has it listed incorrectly, doesn't mean you have to carry that mistake. I just watched the season premiere of Family Guy on Sunday, so it is, by definition, not complete.

I know it's just nomenclature, and maybe if the box itself said complete collection, that would be one thing, but the box clearly doesn't say that.

I just copy/pasted Amazon's title and didn't read the small letters in the package. If it bothers you that much, then contact the mods for a change in the title of the thread. You are making a big issue for something so small.

I just wanted to clarify and I thought you would like to know since you are the OP. I don't typically do new threads like this, but in the few instances where I have, I like to have the most accurate information as possible. I know you do a lot of these threads, and it is appreciated.
