I like Anna Faris, and she's done well in comedy movies, so hopefully she'll be a good host. No idea who Duffy is.

I'm expecting a sketch about the presidential debate. Shitting all over McCain, and only gentle humor about Obama, of course.

I thought she was cute in the 1st Scary Movie, but in the ads that she's been appearing in for this weeks SNL she looks like a blow-up doll.

I think she's moderately funny and liked her in the first 3 Scary Movies, but yeah, she needs to stop fucking with her face.

They sure are going the extra mile to bash the right tonight. I'm all for mocking political figures, both on the left and the right, but come on. Throughout the history of the show they've been somewhat fair at taking shots at both sides, even in 00 and 04, but so far this year they aren't even trying to pretend that they aren't flat out for one of the candidates.

Agreed. They really stretched the palin opening way too long. And the debates sketch was an obvious Mccain bashing.

Why not highlight Obama's stuttering and "umm, uhhh" when he speaks without a teleprompter during the debate sketch? A writer with any lick of talent could write a dozen sketches alone taking shots at Joe Biden and his many gaffes.

I mean, last week they joked about incest in the Palin family for crying out loud.

Well at least they didn't have to write much material. I thought it was genius that they basically re-enacted the interview with some extra nonsense thrown in for good measure.

I'm not a fan in general of the whole plastic surgery/injecting shit into your face thing, but I can at least understand the reasoning behind most procedures, even if I don't really like them. But I can't, for the life of me, fathom collagen injections. I've never talked to a single person whose seen an actress with that ridiculous unnatural duck-lipped look and not think it was hideous. Does anyone here think that this looks good? Am I (and everyone else I've talked to about it) missing something about why actresses keep doing this? Seriously, I'm curious; it confuses me.

Yeah, I always love Hammond as Clinton.

I don't mean much by this, really, but it's just a simple observation. It feels a bit weird watching NBC tonight, what with SNL showing obvious bias, then during the commercial break we have a TV spot for Oliver Stone's W, then after that a little later we have one for Bill Maher's film Religious.

Anyway, back to the show...

No, like I said, just sayin'. It would feel weird to watch a show that bashed the left over and over while going soft on the right, and during commercials I just got more of the same. It's not bad, not good, just an observation.

It's just the political season we're living in this year I guess.

I was going to do a Yahoo search for her, but misspelled her name and as I typed "Ana Farris" the first search that auto completed was "ana farris lips".

I'm a huge fan of hers, I think she's very cute and funny, but this deal with the lips is too much.

Agree with all of the comments about Anna. It's just depressing - she used to be such a cutie. Anyone else catch her in May? Amazingly delicious.

Now she looks as if she is trying to turn herself into an ungodly cross between Brooke Hogan and Britney Spears - two (in my opinion) seriously unattractive "hotties."

I did think the show was actually okay tonight, at least given the rather low standard of the season so far.
