.....and I thought that the Baltimore Orioles were the only pro team to mail it in during the regular season(mostly the last 6 weeks). The Detroit Lions have officially mailed it in with only three weeks gone in the season but there are two reasons the people of Detroit can celebrate this week--1.) Matt Millen was fired and 2.) The Detroit Lions have a bye week meaning that all pro football fans in SE Michigan can actually watch good pro football this weekend instead of the 50 yrs of crap the Lions have produced.

We're 0-3, they're 0-3, the loser's season is toast, the winner isn't in much better shape... but it's the Browns dammit! Even our little 2 year-old daughters know what to do when the Browns come to town....

If anyone hears anything new about Westbrook and McFadden prior to 1, please post.

Both sound like game-time decisions but I don't have that luxury (no matter what I have to start 2 of Westbrook/Buckhalter/McFadden by 1 pm). Looks like McFadden will be getting a pain-killer injection prior to the game.

DVDMagic

I'm waiting on the fitmess of those 2 as well, but both are in seperate teams, so the situation is quite as urgent as yours. I think that McFadden is the more likely of the 2 to start. I have Sportscenter on awaiting news and will post if I hear anything.

McFadden better start, it's time for the Raiders to prove to me they suck less then I think they do and beat rival Chargers. At least put up a good fight! They are much better than LY and I'd like to see Jemarcus atempt a few more passes on SD.

wow. The refs in this Carolina-Atlanta game are just terrible. First they call back a pick 6 by the Panthers on a ridiculous roughing the QB penalty on Peppers, then on the next play they call another unseen unsportsmanlike penalty.

God I hate Childress I don't care what you think about T-Jacks the real problem with this the team is the coach. Honestly if your passing more now because you thought that jackson couldn't pass then that is your fault for playing him in the first place. Why can't this guy call plays that aren't obvious, and why are we still throwing to shiancoe I don't care that he scored last week. Why do you punt down by 2 scores with 3 minutes left? Is it because you want to pretend like stats mean something and wins don't?

I swear Charlie from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia could write up a better playbook than Childress.
