TV on the Radio- Dear Science,
The new TV on the Radio hit stores today and I think it's worthy of it's own thread as it is probably the best album I've heard this year.
If you're not familiar with them I like to call them indiesoultronica as they blend all three genres brilliantly. Dear Science, is probably their most accessible album to date and it's also pretty darn funky while throwing in some string arrangements as well.
Anybody else feeling it?

After 2 listens, I'm just not getting into it.
Every song is great... maybe it's just not quite what I expected. It's vastly different than the previous 2 albums.

I love this band and their first two albums. All of their music is great and "Wolf Like Me" is one of the best songs I've heard this decade. I can't wait to pick up the new one this weekend.

So far liking this a lot more than their last album, although I'm not hearing a "Wolf Like Me" or "Ambulance" here on my second/third listen.

Nice, Family Tree was my first favorite, then Golden Age and Crying. Currently Love Dog has been growing on me. I like the contrast between the Kip Malone tunes (Crying, Red Dress, Stork and Owl) and the Tunde Adepimbe tunes (Halfway Home, Love Dog, Family Tree).

I'm psyched, I get to see them live down here in New Zealand in January! The new album is excellent, I think I prefer the Tunde tunes to the Kip tunes generally though.
