"Pushing Daisies" audio volume fluctuating?

During the first episode, I thought maybe I was hearing things, but during "Dummy", the audio seems to fluctuate in volume frequently, especially the narrators voice. Has anyone else noticed this or am I going mad?

Yeah, happened a few times for me. It was not that bad...but I definitely noticed it.

Weird. Just watched the first 2 episodes last night and didn't notice any problems.

It's not at all possible that this could be an inherent problem with the show's production or a hardware issue that a couple users are having. No, no way. It's got to be Warner doing this out of spite.

Definitely a fluctuating volume problem on the first two episodes. Haven't watched the others yet. I wouldn't exactly call it minor... even my wife commented on it, and she doesn't normally pay much attention to that sort of thing.

I'm still looking for the part in Vipper's post where he says it was for spite.....damn it's taking longer than I thought.

Surely not "spite", but I'd certainly believe "complacency" and/or "incompetence". Lately, Warner has been fumbling releases left and right.

For the people who are having problems, what are you using to play the discs?

Same here. I was using the PS3 and had no problems. I also had 2 friends with me when I watched and neither of them noticed anything.

PS3 -> Onkyo 605. I watched the 2nd disc today and didn't notice audio fluctuations, so maybe it's a bad batch of disc 1's, or maybe they're all bad and you all can't hear correctly .
