We did this a few years ago and it worked out pretty well. Rank your top 10 college football teams. Points will be assigned for each ranking, 10 points for #1, 9 points for #2 and so on. Please have all rankings in by Thursday at 5PM EST. Thanks.

Just curious as to what everyone is seeing in Florida and LSU that they're not seeing in Georgia?

tebow (ok, and destroying hawaii, miami, and tennessee) and the win against auburn (lsu obviously)
struggling with south carolina hurts uga a bit

but they get their chance to prove themselves against bama this week

it really comes down to who they have played.. not who they will.. Im all for letting teams jump each other as they prove themselves.. since the first several weeks are all just speculation anyways.

I might be biased, but they didn't really "destroy" Miami, and frankly, none of the Gator fans I watched the game with thought this either. Miami has certainly given them their toughest test yet.

One more set of rankings please, I'd really like to get this to 10 if possible.

just a suggestion..
since thats already in a spreadsheet, would be easy enough to do
you may want to make it into 3 columns.
column 1: dvdtalk top 10
column 2: AP poll
column 3: coach's secretary's poll

easier to compare our votes with the 'real' rankings

Quake1028

Will do that next week. Otherwise it looks good?

yep.. looks good to me

glad we could all agree that USC is unbeatable ;)

I told cha USC wasn't the #1 team but yall didn't want to listen :D
Btw- Quake, shouldn't Oklahoma get one first place vote. (1)

should be interesting to see if SC is still on anyone's top 10 come next week, they certainly arent on mines unless there's a slew of top 10 upsets still coming.

They'll be close to the top 5 still. Everyone is already making excuses for them saying that everyone's going to lose a game anyway. USC just got theirs out of the way early so they can reclaim the top spot by the end of the season.

without some more upsets.. they most likely wont be in my top 10

Quake1028

They won't be in mine, either. I'd be more willing to keep my current #7 Alabama in the Top 10 if they lose a close game to UGA.

USC just got theirs out of the way early so they can reclaim the top spot by the end of the season. So, if USC finishes with one loss, they'll be ranked ahead of a currently-undefeated team who loses a game later in the year? Why play the games then, why not be like Ohio State who stopped playing 2 weeks before everyone else and just let the others disqualify themselves? Let's just change the championship format to include only the two biggest schools from the biggest conferences who finish the season with the longest then-winning streak?

Seriously, if some tragedy had befallen the west coast and USC were unable to play this week's game and any other game this year before BCS-time, they'd be invited to play. You know they would - they were the Best Team In History Evar just a few days ago!

Hey, question time! If USC finishes the Pac 10 with only 1 loss and everybody else loses 2 or more, are they the best team in the conference?
