Full screen?!?!... seriously, wtf are they thinking?!?!?

I agree. Why are they still selling full screen versions of The Bourne Identity? It's 2008, for chrissakes!
Edit: Damn, beat by a minute!

I agree. What kind of collector purchases the full-screen version of a movie?

I think you folks are missing the OP's point. It's obvious that The Hades Factor's cover art was ripped off by the folks who did The Bourne Identity. You would think the people at Universal would be more creative.

I think you missed the OP's real point, Bourne in Full Screen? When will it end?!!

While we're at it, I'm completely sick of heist movies. Sick of them. I just don't care about a bunch of assholes (even if they DO wisecrack) who are planning to rob somebody.
Those stupid Ocean's movies tried to make it like they're robbing a "bad" guy, but fuck it, a boring movie about a bunch of guys hovering over blueprints is still boring. Even if they DO wisecrack.

Where did you go wrong.
I told you to stop hanging out with that Cuba Gooding Jr.

I, for one, thought that Covert One: The Hades Factor was brilliant and even more action packed than The Bourne Films COMBINED!
Oh wait, never mind. I never even heard of it before! Silly me.
That cover art was copied for sure. That's awful. Especially considering I didn't even like The Bourne Identity cover art to begin with!

I always thought Stephen Dorff was a bit of a Streisand, but he's rockin the shit in this one.

Well, they'll have to use a similar cover if they ever make a movie about Public Enemy.

Maybe we need to resurrect the Tom Cruise "profile on the cover" thread.

Some of these covers are obviously that way on purpose, especially when it's a lower budget movie or a direct to DVD movie trying to capitalize on the more successful box office counterpart.

Saw this in a store. It caught my eye because I was wanting to see the DePalma movie, but was a bit surprised because I thought that it had just been released theatrically. (Though the older I get, the faster time seems to pass.)
Upon closer examination, I didnt' see Hillary Swank listed among the cast, and also that it was not directed by Brian DePalma.
Both have the same title (as its based on a real murder case, I assume it's public domain and difficult to copyright and trademark), and both have a goth chick on the artwork with Crow-lines at the corners of her mouth.
I very nearly bought the damned thing.

I remember there was some film that had it's cover look like a Lord of the Rings movie, right down to the orange-ish hue. This was a couple years ago, I can't remember what it was...
EDIT: Found it, I remembered Beast was in the title and searched on Amazon: Blood of Beasts (http://www.amazon.com/Blood-Beasts-Etienne-Changuion/dp/B000AQOHMG/ref=sr_1_143?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1221736784&sr=1-143)

Somehow I can't envision Vincent D'Onofrio as a romantic lead. And that's not an insult, by the way.

I only remember ripoff covers or "floating head" covers.
