Godfather Trilogy on Blu-ray 50% off at Amazon!

Amazon has it up for $61.95, 50% off. If you're one of the lucky few who still get the 5% Discount, it's $58 and change. Apologies for not having this only in the bargains thread, but thought it deserves some more views, especially if they raise it soon.

Actually on the product page it's back up to the original price of $74.95.

Glad I jumped on it when it was at $61.95.

My set just arrived. Coverart looks identical to that of the Region 2 DVD release.

So how does it look? The grain is intact, right?

Yes - but not in a sense where you pull out from the top/bottom but from the side. Similar to that of Heroes Seasons 1/2 except its a bit thicker. All 4 discs are houses inside of a typical BD case like Terminator Sarah/Smallville.

The booklet is really nice though.

I flipped through the first one...yes, looks to be in tact and no DNR/EE that I can see. Very dark film though.

Thanks for the update on the deal being back. $56.95 with the Bill Me Later coupon and I can get the rebate on the DVDs then sell them. My first Blu-ray preorder in awhile.
