I've been venturing into the political talk section of this board more and more. Some of the threads i go into have a lot of terms, phrases and political slang that I dont understand. I think it would be a good idea if a mod would make a sticky with the definitions. it would make reading the threads a lot easier and would better understand what is being talked about. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has this problem and it would be be of great help to the newbies of political talk section. Thank you in advance

Well one I heard the other day was "perfume on a pig". stuff like thatI don't think that term is specifically political. It just means that no matter how much you try to pretty something up or change its appearance, its fundamental nature remains unchanged.
