Get Smart - The Complete Series - 25% Off at Time-Life; Seasons 1-5 $29.99 - Exp 9/30

Just got an e-mail from Time-Life. Looks like they're trying to unload the sets they have since the set is no longer exclusive to them.

The set retails $199.99. The coupon GETSMART knocks 25% off the price, and I believe there's free shipping with this set (when I bought it anyway). They're also selling all 5 seasons individually for $29.99 a piece.

Coupon expires at 11:59pm EST on September 30th.

Hope they do this with "Man From U.N.C.L.E.", since I bought S1 from them.

It's actually cheaper to get the 5 seasons individually. I guess the coupon code really does fit the sale.

It's the same price. And you don't pay shipping for the box, you have to for the individual seasons though.

So the box is still cheaper. $29.99x5 seasons = $149.95, which is the same as the complete box.. then whatever the shipping charges are.

you can get the set from warners store for just a bit over $105.

use the 30% off code from the warner store thread.

That's an even better deal.

I didn't know it was up for pre-order yet.

Oh well.

Does anyone know what the plans are for the other season sets to be released elsewhere? As cheap as Season 1 was on its release, I probably need to be patient and wait, but wondered how long it would be.

for what it's worth...the box that holds all 5 seasons is pretty amazing...definitely worth a premium price for hard-core fans/collectors :-D

I know Warner underwent some changes since I last ordered from them. Do they charge your card right away, or when the order ships?

Both of those are great buys compared to the $160 "deal" I got from them on it back in March..

Warner charges when item ships. They do however place a hold on your card for the amount of the charge to make sure funds are available when item ships. All companies do this ,as far as I know, for items that are not available to ship immediately ie preorders. However as I said you will not be billed on your credit card statement until item ships.

You have to buy two or more items for the code to work.
