Did anyone here watch the miniseries? I absolutely loved her friend Rodney, and am so psyched that Chris (forgive me if I spell it worng) Diamantopoulos is coming back for the series. It's apparently starting Oct. 10, and I'll definitely tune in, if only for the quirky friends. Emmy-winner Judy Davis is back for the show too, and her character was totally badass on the original miniseries.

Watched the whole marathon last week and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately I don't think Miranda Otto will be back for the series and I have a thing for her.

I just saw the mini-series last weekend when they aired a marathon. I will likely tune in for the series if I have enough room to add another show. (Hopefully I will have dropped some of the new September series by then )

OMG, I know! Miranda Otto... totally fell for her in LotR. I'm okay with her not being in the show though... I mean, she's mostly a movie actress anyway, so a miniseries is a lot less commitment than a show, which could go on a really long time. That said, I'm so psyched for Rodney (I loved him, and his chairs, in the miniseries) who's going to have a much bigger role. And they got Judy Davis to come back, and she was phenomenal as the alcoholic friend, wasn't she?

I like Debra Messing and would be interested in checking this out, but I simply can't. I'm already hovering over 30+ shows for this new season.

I watched this last night with my girlfriend (who knows one of the background actors on the show), and I was actually enjoying it until that bullshit with the lost journal - I hate plot devices like that.

I just watched the 2 hour premier last night. I don't know anything about a mini series. When did it come on?

It's on Hulu.com. It started out as a 6 part mini-series in summer of 2007. Apparently the ratings were good enough for USA to make it to a series.
