Ghost Rider 2: My skull STILL feels like it's on fire!

You're welcome.

Seriously, if this happens a legion of angry fanboys and people who've watched clips of the Wicker Man remake 20,000 times on Youtube (me included in the latter group) will make this movie some sort of mutated hit-bomb. A firebomb, if you may: something that sets the box office on fire ($100 million+) but pisses everybody off except the idiots who wanted to see it and loved it. You know, like the first one, or the Matrix and Pirates of the Caribbean sequels, or My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

Also, a sequel in Europe usually means "shit". Ocean's Twelve isn't a complete bust for referencing Miller's Crossing and a few glimmering moments of awesome from those involved (and the Bruce Willis cameo), but it's too freaking long. But say the words "European Vacation" and my thesis at the beginning has been proven.

For a title, may I suggest Ghost Rider's European Vacation or, in relation to the possibility of an association to the Catholic Church, there's only one option: Ghost Rider: God Warrior.

I rest my case.

I hated Ghost Rider, and this is from someone that actually enjoyed the other Marvel films like Daredevil and Fantastic four.

Ghost Rider was so bad it ended up being good IMO, so I'm down for a Ghost Rider 2.

If Nic Cage is in it I'd be down.

Never saw the 1st film but a friend recently did and he told me he liked it. I might check it out, but the little bits I have seen sucked ass.

Ghost Rider was worse than Daredevil and that is saying something.

Nic Cage makes some of the strangest movies. There has been virtually no publicity for Bangcock Dangerous. Talk about just dumping a movie out there to get it off the plate.

This is just a bad idea. I'm against making Superman reboot dark, but this needs to be a dark superhero movie.

Agreed. At least Batman and Robin was unintentionally hilarious. Seriously it's one of the funniest movies of the 90's. Who doesn't love a movie where every line Arnold is givin is a bad pun about ice or cold?

Ghost Rider was meh...I didn't love it or hate it.

Ghost Rider really was so bad it was good. I'd be down for a sequel, as long as it wasn't as awful as the first, but wasn't so radically different that it felt like a remake.

The first wasn't terrible, just not very good. I'll pass on the sequel.

Why do I get the feeling that in the sequel Johnny Blaze will have a mullet, and this mullet will be the first thing that catches fire during the transformation to Ghost Rider? .... but I liked the first one for the complete piece of $hit that it was ... a sequel could be interesting.

The only thing I liked from GR1 was the 2 GR's riding together. Everything else ranged from just ok to OMFG that was lame even for Marvel.

That said, I'd prolly check out GRII.

GR1 was a box office success -- not surprised by this news at all.

definitely the weakest of the comic book films over the years IMO. I wont be going to theaters to see this one, but will probably rent it.

Is it me, or is this the silliest comment ever? Did you come up with this while having your balls clamped by any chance?

Yes, I liked the first one. But how can you say Batman and Robin was a better movie? Seriously???????? Batman and Robin makes Ghost Rider look like the greatest movie ever.

Batman & Robin is purposely campy, so some of the terrible lines and characterizations fit, whereas Ghost Rider attempted to be serious but came off as lame.

Ghost Rider was honestly one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Why does this need to happen?

The obvious answer is because you touch yourself at night. The other is money money money monnneeeyy... Mooooonnneeeey.

I think those National Treasure movies re-vitalized Nick Cages career. Not that they were good, but yeahhhh.. I'm on board if, and only if, they can Mark Steven Johnson.
