Just got an email that I was upgraded to Premier Black...which looks like a step above silver, which I don't even qualify for at all. Anyone else get this? Sadly, the website is not up yet so I can't see the concierge service that's promised. But I do get free shipping on everything now :)

I got the email too. Not sure how, since I've barely used the Reward Zone card.

Nothing. Not even in my junk folders :(

They also owe me a $5 cert currently that I so desperately want by the time I pick up Rock Band 2 in 11 days.

Got the same thing as well.

I first logged on the the reward zone site (not the link provided in the email) and I logged in and nothing on there indicates anything about Premiere Black.

I only buy dvds mostly and only a few every few months. Only have about 80 points right now.

I have spent far more at Best Buy than a friend of mine and he got this today and I have received nothing. I wonder how they go about selecting their Black members?

I got it too. From what I'm seeing on other forums it sounds like everyone received it. Most people seem to be thinking it was an error. Instead of going out to people that have spent over $5000 like it should have, it was mistakenly sent to everyone with a Reward Zone card.

Got the same email. It's hard to tell what else it offers above Silver at this point. I qualified for silver a while back and all that has added is a 25% bonus on points (which is pretty nice.) I guess banking points is pretty good as well.

I wonder if it's going out to people who have not been using their cards as incentive to do so. I got the email today. I think I've used my card once this year. I remember signing up for the rewards card when it first came out - it was free by invitation. After the first year went by I got a notification that I needed to renew - and there was a fee ($20 I think). I deleted the notice and went on about my business. A few weeks later they renewed it on their own and it's never expired since.

I remember that. I wonder if this is part of the plan for black rz: to entice people with the extra points and services and then after x amount of time offer to renew the service at a price. (And, yes, I received the email notice, too.)

I received it as well but can't access the site.

Yeah, I recieved this too. I've also spent about $3000.00 there this year. SO unless their Blu-ray prices come down, I've learned my lesson and won't be spending as much. Good deals from various web sites have helped.

I got the E-mail, too. I do shop at Best Buy, alot, but, I'm not sure that I do enough to qualify for this level. I mean, I'll take it if I get it, but, I think it's strange that people are getting it, and don't even use their Reward Zone card.

Got this in email. Bummer it was a mistake. Free Shipping would get me to buy more things at best Buy.

It turned out to be a mistake or "error." Search it up on Google. You'll find it on a lot of sites. I got my hopes high...

Black didn't seem all that appealing to me anyways. I don't even know how I ended up with Silver since I never spend $2500/yr in BB, but I'll gladly take the benefits that come with it.

Normally, Best Buy is just concerned with the last sentence.

I got silver, although I don't know how. I spend prolly about 1k there a year (black friday sales mainly). My parents though should have gotten black status. They spent well over 5k last year (new kitchen appliances) but, they still haven't even gotten silver!!

I started doing RZ back when you paid to be a member. I haven't spent $2500 this year yet, but over 1,500. Would be nice if they gave me silver atleast. (what are the benefits of silver anyways?). Heck if I was black, i'd buy more because of the free shipping.

Any way to painlessly change my contact info? I spend way too much money there and I've never, not even ONCE - received any coupons in the mail.

My old e-mail address is the one they had on file but I remember I had to e-mail someone last time to correct it and stuff.. way too much of a hassle.

"Would you like an extended service plan with that incompetence? It's a really great deal and it covers everything. If our incompetence ever fails for any reason, the service plan will fix it. And if we can't fix it after three tries, we'll give you brand new incompetence at no charge."
