I haven't been a huge reader, but I'm trying to read more. I mainly like sci-fi/fantasy stories. I have read the Harry Potter series and I just finished the Twilight series, and love them both. I am now searching for a new book (or series) to read.
I have tried reading some of David Eddings books and just couldn't get into them.
So make your suggestions for the Sci-fi/Fantasy themed books :)

Take a look at Jim Butcher's Harry Dredsen books. It's Harry Potter crossed with Dirty Harry.

Yes read the Dark Tower by Stephen King.
Also Songs of Ice and Fire by George Martin.
