Anyone know of a phone number I can call to get an american at amazon.com?

Long story short I bought thousands of dollars worth of stuff a couple weeks ago. I am tax exempt. Amazon has some weird process that you have to buy and then fax over your tax exempt information. Long story short I've faxed that information to them 10 times now. I keep getting someone in Pakistan that refuses to help me. They won't reply to any of my emails either. It's getting pretty ridiculous. Anyone have any ideas to try?

1-866-216-1072 or 1-206-266-2992. You may have to try to call at different times of the day to get someone in America, or just keep calling till you're happy. The long distance number may route someplace different than the toll free number, but that's just a guess on my part.
