In the past buy 2 get 1 free sales, I used one or two full price items as "placeholders" so that I only had to keep the discount item and swapped the full price game I didn't really want for one I did after release. I assume I could still do that and get Madden now and pick up Force Unleased next month, unless there's been a change in their return policy

For those with a Best Buy Rewards Zone account - they are offering 250 points for your first purchase (plus 1 pt/$ spent at Toys R Us). If you log into your Rewards Zone account you should see the promotion. Makes this offer a little sweeter.

edit: also, to get the special when using Madden 09 as one of the titles, I had to delete the free Favre figure in order for the 1/2 price to kick in on the other title

I just called my local TRU and they said they were not running any deals that i described to her. Does it depend on store to store to run the sale? If i go tonight how can i prove to them that there's a 360 deal?

It's not supposed to start until tomorrow so there is nothing you can do today to prove it. Most people at TRU don't have any idea whats going on even when there is a deal going on

I went to my store today. The deal had not started yet. However, I did get the $10 gift card for getting Madden 09. The guy said I could bring the receipt back next week and price match the buy 1 get half off next one deal. Makes the deal even sweeter. They were handing out coupons for 20% that started this week in a little booklet, had a baby on the front cover. I never got one so when i went in to get this deal i asked the cashier if i could get one and she handed me two. The coupon actually says Babies R US on it and "2 weeks of must-have savings!".

I went this morning and ended up with Lego Star Wars and Burnout Paradise. Are you allowed to get more than two games with the deal? I wanted to get two more but wasnt sure if the sale would still go through with the other two games.

I'm pretty sure you can get more. When they do the buy 2 get 1 free deal in October I've gotten 6 games for the price of 4 with no problems.
