The Black Angels

Anyone else here a fan?

I saw them at the All Points West Music Festival on Satrday, August 9th and I thought they were the highlight of the day (2nd to Radiohead obviously).

I was not at all familiar with them before the show but now I'm a big fan. Hard, driving sound with a flair for rebellion.

Yes I am. I found them through the Official Lost podcast, Matthew Fox had mentioned them. I got Passover and it blew my mind. I love the last song "Call To Arms" and the track before it "Bloodhounds on My Trail". Those two are pretty straight forward where as the rest are really trippy.

I have listened to the new album a few times and it has a different fell, but still excellent. I can't give more than that, I got to listen to it more.

I picked up some of their live sets off of archive.org, I think. They seemed to have a sound similar to The Doors. I don't know if they still do, but I liked what I heard.
