It's only five tracks, but wow. Being a big fan of rage and mars I really loved it.

One Day as a Lion is a band consisting of Rage Against the Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha and former The Mars Volta drummer Jon Theodore. The group combines rock drumming, electro keyboards, and hip-hop vocals. De La Rocha will be playing keyboards as well as providing vocals with Theodore on the drums for their self-titled EP. The band's name derives from an infamous black and white grafitti photograph taken by Chicano photographer George Rodriguez in 1970 with a caption reading "It's better to live one day as a lion, than a thousand years as a lamb". They Released their first EP on July 22, 2008 titled One Day as a Lion

Eight years of virtual silence, and all he's got for us is an EP? I remember vague rumors years ago that DJ Shadow was producing his solo debut, but nothing seems to have come of that.

Yeah this one came as kind of a surprise. I have listened to three tracks and it is pretty cool.
I might be in the minority, but I did actually like the track Zach did with Reznor on the Fahrenheit 9/11 soundtrack. Shame we didn't get to hear more stuff like that.

so far from zack we have had:
march of death with dj shadow
we want it all with trent reznor
burn hollywood burn w/ chuck d and someone else I think
act 2 (scene 3) w/ saul williams off of his self titled
that one song with roni size, cant remember the name off of roni's album
cia w. krs one and ? (though this was during rage's era)
mumia 911 track (same verse as voice of the voiceless, just faster)
drums on a dj shadow single that came out sometime in 2002-03ish
bottom live with tool (doing rollin's part)
thoose are the tracks that pop off the top of my head, might be more, and some details might not be exact. Other than Rage and Inside Out can anyone think of any other tracks?

Don't suppose anyone has a list of tom morello tracks? Other then his awful solo project that is.

Joe Strummer w/ Flea and Tom - It's A Rockin World

Snoop Dog - Snoop Bounce (Rock Version)
Nightwatchmen - 2 albums plus one song on F9/11 s/t
Additional guitar work for Iron Man and Talledega Nights
Then of course the Audioslave and Rage records.
I have been wanting to search out for the Nightwatchmen shows at SXSW with tons of guests and covers in the set.
Also a few nights before the first of the Rage reunion shows, Zack and Tom did a set together at a protest ralley.
Hope this helps, Im still scrolling through my itunes to remember anything else.

Hah yeah he does actually try and do some singing, I mean it's not overly horrible, especially as far as rapper singing goes
The guitar sound to me is pretty Morello influenced, but not the riffage, it usually sounds like feedback/noise...but I still dig it..but would definitely sound better with Morello throwing down some licks.
The drummer Jon Theodore used to be in the Mars Volta, admits to be heavily inspired by Bonham..almost wish he was in Rage.

Just picked this up a little bit ago - Really liking it - gets better with each listen. Too bad it's only 5 songs but they are pretty damn solid.
