Not sure how much longer this runs, but the $14.99 DVD display at my local Kroger has Buy One Get One Free signs posted on it. This makes for a really nice deal on some of the titles, including Paprika, the Buster Keaton 65th Anniversary Collection, the Looney Tunes Spotlight Collection (I only saw Vol. 2), and the 2-disc widescreen Casino Royale.

Which Kroger did you see it at? I was at one in Mason today and didn't see any sign like that.

Also saw this in Food4less food store, which I think is a division? of Kroger.

No joy in Bloomington. This is clearly YMMV, and may even be limited to specific stores and manager discretion.
But seriously, thanks for the heads-up OP.

I didn't see anything at my Kroger either, but there was a bin of Sony/Warner/MGM DVDs for 6.99. They even had a random copy of Superman: The Movie (4-Disc) in there, but it had Spanish text on the back and under the title. I assume it included English audio, but I didn't look too closely since I already own it.

No $14.99 display at my Kroger...I'm not sure if they have ever had one. Usually just a $9.99 rack. More recently a bin with a random assortment of titles, some previously viewed, for $5-10 each.

It was at the store off the I-75 Mitchell Ave. exit. I was at the Western Hills store on Glenway Ave. yesterday, and they did not have the B1G1, so it is most definitely a YMMV situation. I apologize for getting anyone's hopes up. ;)
