Previous experience has also shown that BB is not very good about including the freebies in online orders, either shipped or store-pickups.
But I'm not too worried. I go to BB all the time, so I'll talk to a CSR and get my vouchers eventually.

I ordered one DVD online yesterday with the free ticket and I got the shipping notice for the DVD this morning and when I check online it says the free ticket will ship on 8/24. Also when you read the fine print on the free ticket offer it says "Available while supplies last". So, I guess they ran through all of the free tickets.

Was hoping to sell the free tickets on craigslist for the price of the dvd! I figured if they didn't sell or if Best Buy doesn't send them, they will be getting most of what I ordered back! I'll have to check the return policy though. We'll see. A couple, like Snatch and Alvin and the Chipmunks, didn't work with the movie cash offer to begin with so I didn't order them.

I just re-read Best Buy's small fine print online. First, as ChefWinduAZ noted, the movie cash was available "while supplies last[ed]." Secondly, if you want to return any items with which a free item was included, you must either return the freebie, too, or its value will be subtracted from the refund amount. Now, for those who are saying they'll return their $3.99 DVD's since they didn't get the movie cash, that's a moot point. For folks like SkyDog who bought the same discs and are planning to return two, I suggest using the in-store receipt. I know that lectersvictim said the movie cash rang up $0.00, but why risk some kind of extra small fine print screwjob? As for me, hell, I'll just be happy to score some $3.99 DVDs.

Im not really interested in the free certificate, I picked up 6 of the dvds at my bestbuy store today though, great price.. I love these cheap dvds. Was pretty weird today, the power actually went out in the store and the backup power came on for a short time.
I wish CC did free shipping on their 3.99 dvds online last week, I would have bought some but I did not want to spend quite $25 cause they did not have all their titles online.

I was at a store today, saw signage that indicated X-Files movie money with a purchase of select $12.99 dvds but it wasn't clear how you'd get the movie cash...either with those dvds or with any dvd as you indicated.

Well, yeah, but not of the actual movie. They had Hancock Blu-ray preview discs that came in the official Blu-ray case, and you could get two for a penny, four for two, and so on. Some stores still have them, but many are sold out now. I got some just to have the extra Blu-ray cases.
So there's something to take to the front? That's what I was thinking, but I didn't see anything (and perhaps I wasn't looking in the right spot). Of course, I wasn't sure what it was I was looking for either.
Yeah, the X-Files ticket is in a thin DVD case. It's pretty weird though, since there's no actual DVD in the case, just the movie cash.

Thought I'd bump this thread because of the great deal at Best Buy this week. You can pick up the movie money for Righteous Kill/Traitor with the purchase of any DVD. I loaded up on several titles today and received movie cash for each one.
One note: my store had far less titles available in the store for $3.99 than what the website showed. I was able to get a price adjustment at the register for a half dozen or so that rang up $9.99-$14.99.

Most don't have them out yet. I don't think they are "supposed" to be on display until Tuesday.
Only 1 of the 5 BBs near me has them out, and they've been out for about a month.

Mine had dozens of the movie promo passes on the $3.99 display yesterday. The cashier hadn't seen them yet, inquiring about where I picked them up and then commenting what a good deal it was.

There was a sign for the promotion at my BB, clearly stating the offer was good 8/24-8/30. But the area behind the sign was empty. I had to ask 3 different employees before somebody finally found them in the back... Also used the 10% off coupons to get 3 titles for 3.59 with the free moviecash. Great deal! I'll probably get more tomorrow. The 3.99 display was pretty limited, and I couldn't remember what titles were listed on here. FYI, the double feature titles listed above have a sale sign stating 6.99 not 3.99. I'll try to get them to PM BB.com if they ring up 6.99...

I bought Crank two weeks ago in store for $6.99. Today I went in with my reward zone card and they pulled up the receipt and refunded me $3, and I also was able to get the movie voucher. :up:

Then I would go exchange it in-store, or if you have no store near you, call or email to get it replaced... There should be a card inside with the code...

Went to BB tonight to pick up Heroes Season Two and Postal, saw a bunch of the free tickets to Rightieous Kill and Traitor at the end of the row. The sign said "Free Ticket with any DVD purchase". So I took one for each DVD I was buying. Cashier didn't bat an eye and both rang up $0.00. Then you got to go to the website and put in the code to print up a ticket.

Strictly a guess, but I would think it would be YMMV. If your store still has some of the movie cash available, it wouldn't surprise me if it rang up free w/any DVD purchase.

The Eticket promotion people wouldn't help at all, and I tried contacting bestbuy.com and they said they couldn't send me out a new one. So I guess I'm screwed out of one of one of them?
If this promo comes up again, I'm only going to the store to buy the discs, and I'm opening up all the cardboard sleeves before I buy them to make sure they're in there!
